Utility Week Live is back in person in 2022. Join the FIDO team at the Birmingham NEC on May 17 and 18, 2022.
This year’s conference theme is Collaborative Innovation Brought to Life, with live content based around the frontline challenges like smart water networks, including leak detection.
FIDO event highlights:
Day 1: Tuesday May 17
11.30am: Skills Challenge (90mins)
Isle Utilities stand C32
FIDO AI is the first of four challenges teams of apprentices will take on as part of the Institute of Water’s Skills Challenge.
Up to ten teams of two will be trained to use FIDO and find a leak noise in real-time, all in a matter of minutes.
There’ll be pitfalls along the way.
3.50pm: Tech Talk (10mins)
Isle Utilities Stand (C32)
FIDO Tech chief revenue office Dermot O’Kelly will give a brief talk about the current and future solutions FIDO AI offers to water sector challenges.
Day 2: Wednesday May 18
1pm: Postcards from the Edge: Lessons Learned using Trial-to-Purchase Pilots (1 hour)
FIDO CEO Victoria Edwards will give her unique perspective as the founder of a new technology business in the UK water sector as part of a session chaired by Dr Jo Burgess, Head of Trial Reservoir for Isle Utilities.
The session brings together vendors and technology users who have successfully found a way to engage in a trial-to-purchase process. Look out for short first-hand accounts of how they managed to reach agreements, what happened during their trials , and what they foresee as the consequences of success. The presentations will be followed by an open Q&A session.
Victoria is currently leading techUK’s Accelerating Clean Tech Adoption Working Group as part of its Climate and Resilience Council. Read her latest blog here.
Hope to see you there.
