Water leakage technology (software)

Salary range:  £32,000 to £35,000 plus commission

Location: Bicester, UK

The role

We are currently recruiting a Sales Account Manager with a proven, successful track record in either the water industry (leakage) or with water leakage technology solutions.

The opportunity will require you to pro-actively develop and account manage a portfolio of national and international customers, as well as using your strong new business development skills to identify and open new accounts through a consultative sales approach to take all opportunities into contract. You will support the Head of Account Management (UK) in progressing opportunities through tenders and frameworks and direct account management with all key stakeholders, also supporting the international opportunities and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and seeking out new business opportunities
  • Organising and leading on meetings with clients and prospects (national and international)
  • Delivering a first-class account management service to clients (both self-generated and current) through virtual and face to face meetings
  • A good technical understating of either the water industry (leakage) and/or water leakage solutions
  • Planning and preparing high quality sales presentations (Powerpoint) & competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Providing management with regular feedback and updates on opportunities
  • Acting as the central point of contact for all client interaction and ensuring the customer CRM and sales pipeline is maintained to a high standard
  • Travel maybe required on occasion to monitor service delivery quality and progress
  • To ensure a clear understanding of the client’s current and future leakage strategies to recognise all revenue and upsell opportunities
  • A good understanding of procurement pathways, framework agreements and processes

Skills and experience

  • Recent and proven experience selling water leakage software solutions into water companies, contractors and/or commercial clients
  • Experience of working within the water industry (leakage) is highly desirable or working within water leakage solutions (software)
  • Strong account management skills are needed for this role to ensure all sales opportunities are identified, tracked and progressed to contract
  • Good new business development skills
