The role

We’re looking for a skilled water leakage manager who would like an exciting new challenge at the cutting edge of leak detection.

FIDO Tech’s game-changing AI is disrupting traditional leak detection processes. We need your solid expertise and understanding of the way leak teams work to help water company clients in the north of the UK successfully bed it into their organisation . 

Working closely with leak teams and managers, you’ll be their go-to expert and critical friend, making sure they get the most of FIDO AI’s game-changing features. You’ll act as an extension of their team, guiding them through set-up and initial deployment, making tailored recommendations on best-practice, policy and process and answering their questions.

This is a fast-paced role where you will bring your ideas to help develop solutions.

A great working knowledge of the challenges and motivations of UK leakage teams will be essential to ensure they get the best possible customer experience and performance.

Reporting to FIDO’s Optimisation Manager, you’ll also bring back great ideas for the future improvement and enhancement of FIDO products.

Based in Worthington, near Wigan, this role will involve frequent visits to customer sites across the north of the UK, as well as occasional cover out of region.  You must be comfortable working flexible hours and living away from home for short periods of time.

Role and responsibilities

  • Working with clients to help implement FIDO technology, maximise the benefits and identify solutions to client problems
  • Supporting clients in making policy and procedure changes to support the implementation of FIDO technology
  • Helping our clients develop and implement leakage reduction strategies using FIDO technology
  • Supporting FIDO’s in-house development team with new ideas for improving FIDO technology
  • Supporting FIDO leakage engineers to deliver training and on-site support
  • Ensuring our customer support process is embedded with our clients 
  • Being the customer’s ambassador within FIDO Tech during the “Onboarding” process
  • Supporting the Sales Account Manager with regular reviews
  • Feeding back customer issues or new opportunities to further develop FIDO technology.

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience of working in an operational team within water networks
  • Knowledge and experience of leakage detection technology
  • Experienced at delivering leakage reduction programs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a good team player
  • Hardworking and ambitious
  • Competent in the use of IT systems and data reporting applications
  • Resilient and calm-natured
  • Prepared to travel as part of the role.
